A friend-like approach to teaching
At Orange County Santa Ana Driving School, our number one goal is to treat each and every student like a friend. That approach helps us teach the right set of skills needed to drive safely, defensively, and with the highest possible level of awareness.
Our teaching method, combined with our integrated grading system, helps ensure that parents stay engaged and aware of the lessons and the progress being made. This increases student confidence and makes the overall learning journey more transparent and supportive.
Progress, awareness, and accountability
At the end of each lesson, a progress report from the instructor is shared as an awareness point. This helps students identify weaknesses clearly and work toward turning them into strengths.
Driving instructors are required to go through every step necessary to become certified and licensed by the Department of Motor Vehicles, including Live Scan fingerprints and clearance through the Department of Justice.
Building lifelong safe-driving habits
The most important goal of our driving school is to make sure that students are not only learning the correct driving skills, but also building lifelong habits that support safety for many years to come.
Our teaching approach in drivers training is different from many other schools. Our instructors are trained in coaching students in a way that keeps them much more engaged and much more aware of their surroundings.
Taking fear out of behind-the-wheel training
After completion of our course, every student should feel capable of driving on the streets alone without being overwhelmed by fear. Fear is the antithesis of freedom, and one of our central goals is to remove fear from behind-the-wheel training.
Students should feel a sense of freedom while facing the many variables around them on the road. Awareness of uncertainty and unpredictable scenarios remains a main concern of our driving school because it helps keep students out of danger.
Final message
Wishing you all the best — and drive safely and kindly, because the cars we drive say a lot about us.
